Optional: Importing the sample data
The Pega Customer Relationship Management distribution media includes sample data to help you explore the application capabilities. The sample data includes disabled sample operators that you can enable to learn about the workspaces for each operator role. Importing the sample data is optional, and the sample data that is provided might not align with your business needs.
Ensure that you have already imported the Pega Customer Relationship Management application file. For more information, see Importing the application file.
- In the header of Dev Studio, click .
- Browse to select the file or files to import. Import the
following file or files, in the sequence shown.
Note: If you plan to install the insurance industry applications on top of the base application, only import the DDL sample data file, and not the other sample application files shown below. The insurance industry applications have their own sample applications. SampleDB\PegaCRMSample_DDL.jarSampleDB\PegaCRMSample_DML.jarSampleDB\KMSample\KMSampleData.jar
- Follow the wizard instructions to import the sample data.
Enable the sample operators that you will use to explore the different workspaces. For more information, see Optional: Enabling sample operator accounts.
