Updating implementation application references
This content applies only to Pega Cloud environments
Follow these steps to update either the Pega-provided implementation application Pega Customer Decision Hub, or your implementation application built on the Pega Customer Decision Hub foundation.

Update Guide
- If your rulesets are using Ruleset Validation, ensure that the highest version of rulesets listed in your implementation application has a dependency on the ruleset PegaMKT-Install:08-04-02. If your rulesets are using Application Validation, this step is not required.
- Review the application rulesets and verify that they reference the ruleset version that contains all of your existing artifacts and rules.
- Ensure the implementation application is built on the application PegaMarketing_FW:8.
- On the Cases & data tab, add a reference to the new subscription
microsite if it does not already exist.
- Delete or withdraw any versions of the following data flows that are in your
implementation ruleset:
- DF_ProcessResponse
- DF_VolumeConstraint
- DF_Prospect_VolumeConstraint
- DF_DirectDB
- Update the referenced application for the access group
PegaNBAM:Agents.
- In Dev Studio, click .
- Find and open the access group PegaNBAM:Agents.
- In the Application section of the Definition tab, verify that the application in the Name field is your implementation application.
- If needed, update the application version in the Version field.
- On the Advanced tab, in the Design time configuration section, verify that the default destination ruleset references the Artifact ruleset and version that contains your artifacts.
- Review the other access groups for your application. For each access group:
- In the Application section of the Definition tab, verify that the application in the Name field is your implementation application.
- If needed, update the application version in the Version field.
- On the Advanced tab, in the Design time
configuration section, verify that the default destination ruleset
references the Artifact ruleset and version that contains your artifacts.The standard access groups for Pega Customer Decision Hub are:
- your application:SOAPUsers
- your application:FieldMarketers
- your application:FieldMarketingManagers
- your application:CDHAdmins
- your application:CDHAnalysts
- your application:CDHManagers
