Completing pre-upgrade tasks for Pega Marketing or Pega Customer Decision Hub 7.4 and earlier running on Pega Cloud

Before Pega Cloud services upgrades your Pega Marketing or Pega Customer Decision Hub application from version 7.4 or earlier to the latest version,
complete the following pre-upgrade tasks:
- Apply the required hotfix. See Applying the upgrade hotfix
- Run the pre-upgrade activity. See Running the pre-upgrade activity
- Install the Pre-Upgrade Check component and check your application's readiness for an upgrade. See Running the Pre-Upgrade Check.

Applying the upgrade hotfix
Review the information in the table and apply the required upgrade hotfix for your current
version of Pega Marketing or Pega Customer Decision Hub. Current version Upgrade hotfix 7.4 HFix-67467 7.31 HFix-46621 7.22 HFix-50020 7.21 HFix-49813
Running the pre-upgrade activity
After you apply the pre-upgrade hotfix, run the activity which it contains. The pre-upgrade
activity makes changes to Pega Marketing and Pega Customer Decision Hub artifacts
created in versions older than 7.4. The changes are required in order to prepare the
