Running the optimization check utility for decision strategies

Updated on August 17, 2022

This content applies only to On-premises and Client-managed cloud environments

Run a post-update utility that checks strategies within your application for areas that you can optimize, for example, by reducing the number of page properties that are copied from one shape to another. Running the utility produces a report that you can use to plan the required updates to your strategies.

Pega Customer Decision Hub Update Guide

The utility flags components that you can optimize, as well as components that cannot be optimized and legacy logic that will produce different results after optimization. For more information about the impact of optimization on legacy components, see Optimized strategy execution engine compatibility: known issues and fixes.
