Optional: Enabling the FinalizeFileDBTemplate queue processor

This content applies only to Pega Cloud environments

The FinalizeFileDBTemplate queue processor is disabled by default to help optimize performance. However, if your file and database templates must be processed at extremely high volume, enable the FinalizeFileDBTemplate queue processor.

  1. Log in to Pega Customer Decision Hub as an operator with access to Dev Studio.
  2. In the left navigation pane of Dev Studio, click RecordsSysAdminDynamic System Settings.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Enter a short description for the setting, for example, Enable FinalizeFileDBTemplate queue processor.
  5. In the Owning Ruleset field, enter PegaMKT-Engine.
  6. In the Setting Purpose field, enter CDHDedicatedFileDBQueueProcessor.
  7. Click Create and open.
  8. In the Value field, enter true.
  9. Click Save.
  10. In the left navigation pane of Dev Studio, click RecordsSysAdmin Queue Processor.
  11. Click FinalizeFileDBTemplate.
  12. Enable the FinalizeFileDBTemplate rule by doing one of the following steps:
    • If the FinalizeFileDBTemplate rule opens from your application ruleset, set the value of the Enable Queue Processor toggle to true.
    • If the FinalizeFileDBTemplate rule opens from the PegaMKT-Engine ruleset, save a copy of the rule into your application ruleset, and then set the value of the Enable Queue Processor toggle to true.
