Using the Pega Customer Decision Hub for Communications data model component

Updated on May 14, 2021

Create your application quicker and easier by using the Pega Customer Decision Hub data model for Pega Customer Decision Hub for Communications.

The Pega Customer Decision Hub data model is a requirement for any Pega Customer Decision Hub implementation. It consists of Pega classes mapping to data sets that retrieve their data from data storage systems such as a database.

The Next-Best-Action Designer Strategy Framework and the Pega Models access data from these Pega classes to facilitate the decision making process. The data is commonly populated through an ETL from various line of business systems such as data warehouses and Customer Service.

Note:

Determining the Pega Customer Decision Hub data model is easier with the standard Pega Customer Decision Hub for Communications data model that can be utilized as an accelerator on any implementation project.

If you not wish to utilize the standard Pega Customer Decision Hub for Communications data model, go to Creating a custom data model.

For more information, see the Pega Customer Decision Hub for Communications data model guide on the Pega Customer Decision Hub for Communications product page and download the Communications Customer Analytical Data Model spreadsheet from the Pega Business Excellence website.

To continue building features using the Pega Customer Decision Hub for Communications data model, go to Extending and updating the CustomerSearchResultGrid section.
