Support for multilevel data models

Updated on September 21, 2020

Pega Customer Decision Hub for Communications now supports a multilevel data model. By creating a multilevel data model for your business, you can implement business rules to support complex product and service portfolios.

Within a multilevel data model, you can create accounts with multiple subscriptions and include multiple products within each subscription. Accounts can represent individual customers or households that consist of many individuals. For example, a household account can have several mobile subscriptions, and each of these subscriptions can cover several services, such as phone, Internet, and TV plans.

With a multilevel data model, you can assess the value of an account as a whole, rather than as disconnected entities. Consider individual subscriptions and product holdings from a household perspective to determine whether the next best action for your customer is to upgrade or retain their account, or to enter a negotiation with the customer around their services and products.
