Updating Microsite authentication access

If you want to use the Microsite functionality, create an operator account with the PegaMKT:Microsites access group.

  1. Click ConfigureSystemGeneralSystems, Nodes, Requestors.
  2. In the Requestors table, click the BROWSER requestor for your current system.
    Note: Your current system name is displayed in the System Name field above the table.
  3. Set the Access Group Name for the BROWSER requestor to <your application>:Unauthenticated.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click RecordsSysAdminDynamic System SettingsCreate.
  6. Enter the following values and click Create and Open:
    • Short description - PegaMKT-Engine microsite/URL
    • Owning Ruleset - PegaMKT-Engine
    • Setting Purpose - microsite/URL
  7. Enter the URL of the IAC servlet into the Value field, in the format http://<hostname>:<port>/prweb/IAC.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Create a new operator account. In the Access Group section on the Profile tab, enter or select <your application>:Microsites.
  10. To specify the application name for the microsite to use, create a new dynamic system setting.
    1. Click RecordsSysAdminDynamic System SettingsCreate.
    2. Enter the following values and click Create and Open:
      • Short description - PegaMKT-Engine microsite/applicationname
      • Owning Ruleset - PegaMKT-Engine
      • Setting Purpose - microsite/applicationname
    3. Enter the name of the top level application into the Value field. The top-level application will usually be your implementation application.
    4. Click Save.
  11. To let the Microsite authentication functionality know about the new operator, create a new dynamic system setting.
    1. Click RecordsSysAdminDynamic System SettingsCreate.
    2. Enter the following values and click Create and Open:
      • Short description - PegaMKT-Engine microsite/parameters/useridentifier
      • Owning Ruleset - PegaMKT-Engine
      • Setting Purpose - microsite/parameters/useridentifier
    3. Enter the name of the operator you created in step 14 into the Value field.
    4. Click Save.
