Setting the context for your multilevel decisioning accounts and context class

Use the Context Dictionary to update the customer context and the accounts context to use the Pega Customer Decision Hub multilevel decisioning feature in Pega Customer Decision Hub for Financial Services.

The Context Dictionary identifies the customer entities, the relationships between these entities, and any associated data that Pega Customer Decision Hub for Financial Services uses. For more information, see Understanding multilevel decisioning and the Context Dictionary.
  1. In the navigation pane of App Studio, click SettingsContext Dictionary.
  2. Configure the customer context:
    1. In the Primary Context area, click Configure.
    2. In the Context section, in the Class field, enter MyCo-Data-Customer, where MyCo is the name of your organization.
    3. In the Associated data section, in the Property field, enter .CustomerAccounts.
    4. In the Associated data section, in the Association field, enter CustomerAccounts.
    5. In the Associated data section, in the Association field, enter CustomerAccounts.
    6. Click Save.
  3. Configure the accounts context by clicking Configure next to Account.
  4. If you are upgrading from release 8.4, delete groups that have only the customer context:
    1. Launch the Pega Customer Decision Hub portal.
    2. In the navigation pane, click Next-Best-ActionDesigner.
    3. Click Engagement Policy.
    4. In the Business structure section, select the group that you want to delete.
    5. In the selected group's section, click Delete.
Result: You can view the multilevel context of the customer actions and account actions in the Business structure section of Next-Best-Action Designer.
