Value Finder enhancements

Updated on May 13, 2021

Value Finder recommendations are more actionable

Value Finder has an updated look with all recommendations listed at the bottom of the page for clarity. Every component of the Next-Best-Action Designer strategy framework has recommendations: eligibility, suitability, applicability, and arbitration, as well as for actions and treatments. The recommendation for actions and treatments now provides a comprehensive summary of under-served customers, with which you can view identified groups and the cumulative numbers of under-served customers after eligibility, suitability, and applicability.

For more information, see Analyzing group descriptions.

Running Value Finder when not using the Next-Best-Action Designer framework

If you do not use the Next-Best-Action Designer strategy framework yet, you can now run a Value Finder analysis on your own custom next-best-action strategy. The analysis is possible as long as the custom strategy has a similar structure of eligibility rules and arbitration that contains propensities from adaptive models at each of these stages.

Additionally, if the version of Pega Customer Decision Hub that your organization currently uses does not include Value Finder yet, you can bring simulation results from your current environment into an 8.6 environment to analyze them and identify gaps in customer engagement, even before upgrading your system.

For more information, see Identifying opportunities to improve next-best-action strategies with Value Finder.
