Updated on August 22, 2022

Pega Customer Decision Hub now provides a convenient mechanism to export data, so that you can explore your interaction history and decision results in external tools.

Pega Customer Decision Hub Release Notes

Real-time export of interactions and decision results

Pega Customer Decision Hub now supports real-time export of interactions and, optionally, decisions to a file repository. You can define the repository for data exports during application setup or later in the application settings. The required export data flows and data sets are preconfigured for you.

In earlier versions of Pega Customer Decision Hub, you needed to configure your own process to export interactions and decision results to a repository, which included creating data flows and managing the life cycle of exported files. This is no longer necessary, because the export infrastructure is now available in Pega Customer Decision Hub out of the box.

In new systems, the interactions export is enabled by default. You can use the exported data for analysis in business intelligence (BI) tools to gain insights into customer engagement. Export of decision results is disabled by default, because it involves large volumes of data and impacts performance. If you want to audit your past decisions, it is recommended to enable the decisions stream for a limited time to gather enough data.

You can enable and disable both export types at any time and define how long you want to keep the exported data by using dynamic system settings.

Real-time data flows for exporting decision results and interactions
On the Data Flows landing page in Dev Studio, the Real-time processing tab shows the two data flows for data export.
