Restarting a Run

Updated on August 4, 2022

If a campaign run stops or fails, you can restart it after you solve the cause of the previous run failure.

Note: New deployments of Pega Customer Decision Hub on Pega Cloud services are configured to use the Decision Data Store for action state storage. Campaign Run restarts are disabled in this mode. If you want to enable the campaign run restarts feature, see Disabling the Decision Data Store as action state storage on Pega Cloud.
Pega Customer Decision Hub
  1. Review and address any errors reported for the previous campaign run.
  2. In the Run schedule section, click Restart for the run which you want to restart.
  3. Optional: Enter an explanation note along with the restart request.
Result: The failed run is skipped and a new run is initiated. The new run only sends actions to customers whose actions were not initiated during the failed run, to avoid restarting the campaign from the beginning.
