Installing the Voice AI rulesets

Install the Voice AI rulesets, which provide access to the Voice AI functionality within the Pega Customer Service application.

Pega Customer Service Implementation Guide

The file that Pega provides to you after onboarding contains the Voice AI rulesets. For more information about the files and the details that Pega provides to you after onboarding, see Prerequisites.

  1. In the header of Dev Studio, click ConfigureApplicationDistributionImport, and then import the file.
    Note: The ZIP file contains updates to the CustomerService and PegaCRMBase applications. When you are prompted to apply updates, ensure that you allow updates to these applications.
  2. If the Pega Sales Automation version is not already set to version 8, update the version by navigating to Dev Studio, and then clicking ConfigureSystemGeneralSystem Runtime Context.
  3. Restart the Pega cluster for your changes to take effect.
    The ZIP file also contains the Voice AI dataset JAR file. A JAR file import requires a restart.
