Pega Customer Service Implementation Guide

Pega Collections™, included in Pega Customer Service, helps manage the collections process for customers in any industry who have defaulted on their payments. Use this feature to flag a customer account for collections, schedule a repayment plan, and track payments until the account moves out of collections.

Pega Collections provides the following benefits:

  • Improved user productivity and customer experience.
  • Option to connect with Pega Customer Decision Hub to automate decisions based on categories such as the customer, credit risk, and geography.
  • Automated actions to conduct collections wrap-ups and audits.

Pega Collections is a combination of multiple Microjourneys, including Manage Collections, Schedule Payment Plan, and Make Payment. During implementation, you can also use the Manage Customer Circumstance Microjourney to manage the special circumstances of a customer. For more information on the Manage Customer Circumstance Microjourney, see Manage Customer Circumstance Microjourney.

Note: While Pega Collections™ works for any industry, Pega Collections for Financial Services™ provides more feature rich, industry-specific use cases and data model for clients in the financial services industry.
