Canceling a work order in the Pega Field Service Dispatcher portal

Updated on March 16, 2021

As a dispatcher, you can cancel a scheduled work order if, for example, the customer no longer wants the work to be performed.

Before you begin: Create a work order. For more information, see Creating a standalone work order in the Pega Field Service Dispatcher portal.
  1. In the Pega Field Service Dispatcher portal, to open the work order that you want to modify, perform any of the following actions:

    • Click a work order on the timeline.
    • Click a work order pin on the map.
    • Click on a work order within a job.
  2. On the work order page, click Actions.

  3. In the Reason for cancellation, select a reason for canceling the work order.

Note: If you select Others, enter a comment in the Comments field.
For example: Delayed due to traffic.
  4. Click Cancel.

  5. Click OK.

Result: The work order status changes to Resolved-Canceled.
