Creating a job type in the Pega Field Service Admin portal

Groups similar jobs together by using job types. For example, an Installation job type can have various related jobs, such as Split HVAC installation and Duct free HVAC installation.

  1. In the Pega Field Service Admin portal, click JobsNewJob type.

  2. In the Create job type window, enter a name and a short description for the job type.

  3. In the Status field, select one of the following options:

    • If the job type is active in the system, select Active.
    • If the job type is not active currently but you might activate it later, select Inactive.
  4. Click Submit.
