Creating a regional administrator in the Pega Route Service Admin Portal
The Pega Route Service application provides a regional admin access group, which is a restricted set of permissions for distributed business administrators to manage their respective service territories. A regional admin has limited access to the data and functionality of the Pega Route Service Admin portal. A regional admin can create and manage the routes, field workers, and dispatchers associated with their assigned service territories.
Regional admins have the following capabilities for their assigned service
territories:Capability Allowed action items Dispatchers Create and edit dispatchers and assign the dispatchers to the
service territories assigned to the regional admin. Field workers Create and edit field workers and assign field workers to the
service territories assigned to the regional admin. Service territories View and edit only the service territories assigned to the
regional admin. Customers Only view access to the customers. Routes Create, edit, and manage the routes under the service territories
assigned to the regional admin.
In the Pega Route Service Admin portal, click
and complete the displayed fields.To add service territories, click Add next to Service Territories, and enter a service territory name.
A regional admin can manage multiple service territories.Click Submit.
