Pega Route Service User Guide

Pega Route Service is an application built on Pega Field Service that is designed to meet the unique challenges of managing recurring field service work. Pega Route Service enables business users to create and modify routes which are templates for bulk scheduling. This approach dramatically streamlines back office planning and also eliminates hard-to-spot manual planning errors.

The Route Service application uses the following Field Service portals for specific purposes:

Admin portalBusiness administratorSet up routes and regional admins – if your admins are decentralized.
Dispatcher portalDispatcherManage route scheduling, including bulk work order creation, as well as rescheduling, reassigning, or canceling individual work orders.
Mobile appField workerStart and end tours which represent periods of time in which work is conducted.
