Configuring Dynamic System settings

Review and configure the overall Field Service Management system behavior to more closely meet your business needs.

  1. In the navigation pane of Dev Studio, click RecordsSysAdminDynamic System Settings .

  2. Select the following instances and update the values accordingly.

    Used for Distance Matrix API and map control.
    DebugFSMAPIfalseSet to true to enable logging for the Pega FSM API Rest Service Info statements.
    FSM/Logs/LogToDBtrueSends the Field Service Management log messages to database.
    FSM/Logs/PurgeDays60The maximum number of days to store the Field Service Management log messages in the database.
    FSM/Scheduling/KMPerHour60Travel distance per hour to use in Haversine formula-based travel time calculation used in scheduling.
    FSM/Availability/NumberOfDaysBackward60Shows past data in the availability table.
    FSM/Availability/NumberOfDaysForward60The number of days in the future for data availability.
    FSM/DragDrop/ExtendedTime150The number of minutes the field worker's shift can be extended on drag and drop.
  3. Click Save.
