Configuring route plan

Updated on October 6, 2020

Define a route plan to specify the service locations, their order, the service to be performed, and travel time for a week. Configured routes help us define frequently recurring routes for a field worker. You can create a route schedule for a route plan for any calendar week in the Dispatcher portal.

Before you begin: Create a route. For more information, see Setting up and managing routes.
  1. In the Pega Route Service Admin portal, select Routes.

  2. In the Routes window, select a route.

  3. In the Route plan section, click Configure route plan.

  4. In the Configure route plan section, in the list of all locations that are mapped to the service territory, add the service locations that apply to days.

Duration is automatically calculated from the service that is associated with a specific location.

Note: The list does not show inactive service locations.
  5. Calculate the total travel time and the total duration for each day by clicking Save.
