Creating an appointment

To create an appointment, follow the below steps:

Pega Foundation for Healthcare

  1. If you have imported the Pega Foundation for Healthcare demo application and sample operators as part of installation, log in to the application as EWSUserusing the password that you specified when you enabled this operator; to enable Pega-provided operators, see Enabling operators.

    Otherwise, complete the following steps to create a new operator ID:

    1. Log in to Dev Studio by using the operator ID [email protected] and the password that you specified for that operator.
    2. Save a copy of the existing [email protected] operator and give it a name that identifies it as an EWS user operator.
    3. Add PegaHCEWS:Users access group to the new operator record. Click the radio button to the left of the access group to select it as the default access group.
    4. Save the new operator record.
    5. Log in as the new operator that you created.
  2. Click Create Appointment and enter the following appointment details:
    • Subject (Required)
    • Body (Text)
    • Select Start Date and Duration (Required)
    • Select End Date and Duration (Required)
    • Location
    • Add Participants
      • Logged in user is selected by default.
      • Click Add Staff to add other operators of your workgroup - adds a row to the grid, with an auto-complete field that allows you to select one operator. The auto-complete drop-down list shows the Operator’s name and the email ID.
      • Click Add Member to search for and add a member - adds a row to the grid, with an auto-complete field that allows you to select one member from the list of member records available in the application. The auto-complete drop-down list shows the Member’s name and the email ID.
      • Click Add Practitioner to search for and add one or more practitioners - adds a row to the grid, with an auto-complete field that allows you to select one practitioner from the list of practitioner records available in the application. The auto-complete drop-down list shows the Practitioner’s name and the email ID.
  3. Click Save.
