Step 14: Member keyring

Updated on April 23, 2021

The member data model now holds multiple member IDs within a single member data object. This capability was introduced to accommodate a “keyring” approach to member matching during the adjudication of claims, which facilitates the use of a combination of ID and demographic data. ‘PegaHC-Data- .OtherInformation’ page list property is used to capture the keyring information.

Out-of-the box member ID types now include the following:

  • Pega Member (auto-generated)
  • Pega Subscriber
  • National Insurance Number
  • U + Health Medical
  • U + Health Dental
  • Medicaid
  • Medicare
  • Medicare Supplemental
  • Social Security Number
  • Medicare Beneficiary Number (MBI)

To add a new ID type, add ID type information to PegaHC-Data- MemberIDType class records.
