Sample data

Sample data is installed with the application for testing purposes. Pega Foundation for Insurance uses sample data to represent its party data. This sample party, or contact data, is stored in the external database tables provided by the platform SOR.

The application also provides sample data for policies and endorsements to those policies (policy transactions). This data is stored in external database tables.

The Pega Foundation for Insurance provides sample data such as contacts and business units that you can use to test different types of processes. During the install, this data is loaded into the sample database tables. Details are provided below. Note that this is not the entire list of sample data packaged with the application. There are additional contacts, agencies, agents, and so on. Also, the sample policies shipped are the ones created using Product Builder for Insurance and not using the Product Configuration application.
