Adding a field to the existing review actions in the event review screen

Updated on January 18, 2021

By default, the event review screen displays the following the review actions: Create new investigation, Associate existing investigation, Issue warning, No Action-Invalid event, and No Action-Duplicate event.

To add a new review action for an event, complete the following steps.

  1. Create a record in the Option Map (PegaPS-Data-Config-OptionMap) data type with the new review action. Specify the field name as Event Review Action.

  2. Save as the EventReviewAction (PegaPS-Work) decision table. Update the conditions and return a result based on your requirements.

  3. Save as the ReviewEvent (PegaPS-Work) flow. Update the connectors that result from the decision shape with the newly introduced actions.

  4. Update the work status, confirmation notes, and audit notes in the EventConfirmationNotesAndStatus (PegaPS-Work) decision table.

  5. Update the notification message, email correspondence, and subject in the SetEventNotificationDetails (PegaPS-Work) decision table.
