To determine the acceptance criteria for applications that users submit, you can evaluate and score each application, for example, a financial grant request. Implement the evaluation process in your system by adding evaluations to cases and by creating properties for evaluation criteria.

1. In the Dev Studio Explorer panel, click App. In the search field, enter PegaPS-Data-Config-EvaluationCriteria.

2. Right-click the class and create properties for evaluation criteria fields, for example, maximum score.

   For more information about creating properties, see Properties - Completing the Create, Save As, or Specialization form.

3. In the Explorer panel, click Data and then click Evaluation criteria.

4. On the Data model tab, click Add field and add equivalent properties as fields for evaluation criteria, for example, maximum score.

5. On the Records tab, click Add record and add evaluation criteria.

   For example, add financial criteria with 100 in the Maximum Score field.

6. Configure the evaluation score logic, for example, set the total score for an application as a sum of scores for each criterion. To configure the score logic, perform the following actions:

   1. In the Explorer panel, click App. In the search field, enter PegaPS-Data-Criterion.

   2. Click DecisionDeclare Expression.WeightedScore.

   3. Configure the logic in the declare expression.

   4. Repeat steps a through c for the .TotalWeightedScore declare expression in the PegaPS-Work class.

7. Configure the actions that the system recommends for applications, for example, recommend to reject an application, if the score does not reach a specific threshold. To configure the recommendations, perform the following actions:

   1. In the Explorer panel, click App. In the search field, enter PegaPS-Work.

   2. Click DecisionDecision TableEvaluation System recommendation.

   3. Configure the conditions in the decision table.
