Configuring the application settings

The InterQual® Connect Medical Review Service uses Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) version 2.0 to enable web browser Single Sign-On security. Complete these required setting to create a SAML response from the identity provider.

  1. In the navigation pane of App Studio, click SettingsApplication settings.
  2. Click Change Healthcare.
  3. On the Change Healthcare page, complete the fields that are described in the following table:
    Application IDSpecifies a unique identifier that is included in the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) assertion to identify the application that you are attempting to access. Enter the Application ID that is defined by the service provider (Change Healthcare).
    Audience URIA unique identifier that specifies the intended audience (Change Healthcare) of the assertion, thereby preventing unauthorized access.
    Change healthcare SAML authentication service end pointSpecifies the location of SAML.
    Facility IDSpecifies the unique identifier that represents the physical or logical facility in which the subject is located. The value should be agreed upon between the SAML issuer and the SAML receiver prior to exchanging assertions.
    Issuer nameIn SAML assertion, specifies the unique identifier of the entity, usually an Identity Provider, that issued the assertion.
    Keystore nameSpecifies the name of the keyStore rule that holds the keystore file.
    Keystore passwordSpecifies the password to access your keystore.
    Not before secondsSpecifies the earliest time in seconds, since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z UTC, at which the assertion can be considered valid.
    Recipient URLA required attribute in a SAML assertion that specifies the URL of the intended recipient (Change Healthcare) of the assertion.
    Review summary file nameSpecifies the name of the PDF files that are created when you download the review.
    Subject ID Identifies the user whose identity is being asserted by the identity provider.
  4. Click Save.
