Standard applicability conditions

Updated on June 30, 2021

With this approach, the applicability conditions of the KYC Type are set in the KYC Type configuration. This means that the KYC Type itself determines when it is applicable and when it is not applicable.

The configuration can be done in the definition tab of the KYC Type (see Applies when condition), and allows users to specify the decision rule that drives the applicability of the KYC Type. The decision rules available for selection are: When rules, Decision Tables, Decision Trees and Map Values. You can also select Always to apply the KYC Type without any conditions.

At runtime, the engine traverses through all the available KYC types in the application, executing the applicability condition associated to each of them to determine if they are applicable to the current case. Once the applicability is established, the KYC types are copied to the case, processed, prepared, and presented to the user for data collection.
