Creating your Pega Next-Best-Action Advisor application

Updated on September 5, 2022

Run the New Application wizard to create your implementation application.

Pega Next-Best-Action Advisor Implementation Guide
Before you begin: Access the Organization landing page and create a customer organizational structure. For more information, see Adding an operator by using the organizational chart.

When you run the New Application wizard for Pega Customer Service for Communications, it creates a set of Pega-provided access groups. You must then create your own operators and add them to the access groups that you create.

Note: If you want to implement Pega Next-Best-Action Advisor as part of your Pega Customer Service application, you do not need to run the New Application wizard, as Pega Next-Best-Action Advisor is a core part of Pega Customer Service. For more information, see Pega InstallationUpdate Guide.

  1. Log in to Dev Studio using the operator ID, for example, [email protected], and the password that you specified for that operator.
  2. In the header of Dev Studio, click ApplicationNew Application, and then select Pega Customer Service for Communications.
  3. Click Go to app.
Result:

The New Application wizard creates the application class structure for you. You can reuse the classes and rule sets that the wizard creates in your applications. When you implement your applications, you can then apply class hierarchy and inheritance principles to help you improve the maintainability and overall efficiency of your application.

For more information, see Class layers and Class hierarchy and inheritance.
