Preparing Pega Process Fabric Hub for the Pega Cloud services environment

Updated on November 9, 2021

Seamlessly manage your work from multiple applications by working with the Pega Process Fabric Hub in your Pega Cloud services environment. As a result, you obtain a holistic view of the workflow in your organization from a single place, even if your business scenario includes cases and users from multiple applications.

Additionally, for Pega Cloud services environments, you can start working faster as the Pega Cloud services deploy the Pega Process Fabric Hub for you.
Before you begin: To request that Pega Cloud services install and configure the Pega Process Fabric Hub in your environment, make a request by selecting New request in My Support Portal and include the networking details and operator details in the request. For the latest documentation on making requests, see My Support Portal: New Design, Streamlined Features. Ensure to request hosting the Pega Process Fabric Hub on an HTTPS port.

In order to work with the Pega Process Fabric Hub in a Pega Cloud services environment, you need to create an administrative user, and then enable an operator that is responsible for synchronizing data between the Pega Process Fabric Hub and your remote applications. The Pega Process Fabric Hub includes the disabled DataSyncOperator operator by default.

  1. Create an administrative user to manage the Pega Process Fabric Hub.
  2. Enable a DataSyncOperator operator to synchronize data between your remote applications and the Pega Process Fabric Hub:
    1. Log in to Dev Studio by using the administrative user credentials that you created in step 1.
    2. In the navigation pane of Dev Studio, click Records.
    3. Expand the Organization category, and then click Operator ID.
    4. In the list of instances, click DataSyncOperator.
    5. On the operator rule form, on the Security tab, clear the Disable Operator check box.
    6. Click Save.
