Importing the Pega Robot Manager application

Install Pega Robot Manager by importing the file that contains the application ruleset to Pega Platform.

Downloading Pega Robot Manager from Pega Marketplace.

Navigate to the Pega Robot Manager page on Pega Marketplace.
On Pega Marketplace, scroll down to locate the latest version of Pega Robot Manager.
Click Download and save the PegaRobotManager ZIP file to a directory of your choice.
Navigate to the PegaRobotManager ZIP file and extract the file contents to an accessible directory.

Importing the Pega Robot Manager application into Pega Platform

Log in to Pega Platform by using the Pega Platform administrator ID.
In the header of Dev Studio, click ConfigureApplicationDistributionImport.
On the Import Wizard tab, in the Import file section, select the file repository from which to import the Pega Robot Manager software.
Click Choose file to open File Explorer.
Navigate to the extracted file contents:
1. Browse to the PegaRobotManager_<version>\Rules folder.
2. Select the PegaRobotManager_<version>.jar file.
3. Click Open.
For example: You can select the file from your local directory, as shown in the following figure:

Click Next.
If your Pega Platform application is running on an Oracle database, enable the Do not set restore point or save metadata during the import option.
Click Next.
Progress through the remaining import steps by accepting the default settings.
When the import completes, click Done to close the Import wizard.
