Setting the heartbeat interval

Updated on January 31, 2022

If you edit the heartbeat interval global setting, the change affects all your Pega Robot Manager applications on the current Pega Platform instance.

Before you begin: To change the application settings, you must have administrative privileges and an unlocked ruleset in your current application.
  1. In Pega Robot Manager, click Settings.
  2. Click Configurations.
  3. In the Intervals section, click the More icon, and then select Edit.
  4. Enter the new interval values, in seconds.

Robots use the heartbeat interval when they send a signal to your Pega Platform application.

If the heartbeat interval was exceeded for a robot, the robot displays a red icon, indicating that the connection to the robot has been lost.

  5. Click Save.
