Associating Pega Robot Manager with an existing application
Improve the management of your robotic workforce by associating the Pega Robot Manager portal with your application.
Robot Manager facilitates viewing, scheduling, and performance management of attended and unattended robots in your enterprise.- Log in to Pega Platform as the application administrator.
- Open your application record:
- From the Dev Studio header, select , as shown in the following example:

- In the Edit Application form, in the Built on
applications section, add the
PegaRobotManager application to the stack:
- Click Add application.
- In the Name field, enter PegaRobotManager.
- In the Version field, enter the last version.
See the following figure for reference:Adding Pega Robot Manager to the application stack - If your application is using a UIKit version earlier than UIKit 15.01, add
UIKit 15.01 to the application stack:
- In the Built on applications section, click Add application.
- In the Name field, press the Down Arrow key and select UIKit.
- In the Version field, press the Down Arrow key and select 15.01.
- Confirm your settings by clicking Save.
- Create an access group:
- In Dev Studio, click .
- In the Name field, enter the name of the access group.
- In the Description field, enter the description of the access group.
- Confirm your settings by clicking Submit.
- Configure access to Robot Manager:
- In the Application section, enter the name and version of your current application.
- In the Available portals section, enter pyRobotManager.
- In the Available roles section, add at least one
user role by clicking Add role.
For example: To grant users full administrative privileges, consider adding the following user roles: - <App_Name>:Administrator
- <App_Name>:User
- PegaRobotManager:RobotRegistrator
- AutomationPackageManagement:Admin
