Enabling the robot administrator operator

Pega Robot Manager comes with the readily-available RMSysAdmin operator account that you can instantly use for building and maintenance of applications enabled for robotic process automation.

  1. Log in to Pega Platform.
  2. In the header of Dev Studio, click ConfigureOrg & SecurityOrganizationOperators.
  3. On the Organization and Security landing page, in the Operators tab, open the RMSysAdmin operator record.
  4. On the Edit Operator ID form for the RMSysAdmin operator, clear the Disable Operator check box.
  5. Set the operator password:
    1. Click Update password.
    2. In the Change Operator ID Password dialog box, enter and confirm the password.
  6. Optional: To force the password change when the operator logs in for the first time, select Force password change on next login.
  7. Confirm your settings by clicking Save.
  8. Communicate the password to the user of the RMSysAdmin operator account.
