Creating configuration files in Pega Robot Manager

Updated on November 29, 2022

Create a new Runtime configuration file version by copying an existing file. For example, you can create settings that are specific to a single robot, a work group, or an entire application.

  1. In the navigation pane of Pega Robot Manager, click SettingsRuntime configs.
  2. In the row that corresponds to the file that you want to copy, click the More icon, and then select Save as.
For example: To edit the default Runtime configuration settings, copy the master file.

  3. In the Save as window, provide a name and description for the new file.

  4. Confirm your settings by clicking Create.
  5. Optional: To assign this file to all entities that do not have a direct Runtime configuration file assignment, perform the following actions:
    1. Click the More icon, and then select Set as default.
    2. At the confirmation prompt, click Yes.
What to do next: Make the necessary configuration changes by editing the file that you created. For more information, see Updating robot settings.
