Handling underperforming robots
Pega Robot Manager monitors failed robotic automations over a period of time to stop underperforming robots. By identifying and stopping robots that fail their assignments too often, Robot Manager reduces the total number of failed assignments as well as the maintenance effort needed from human operators to clear such assignments.
You can influence how Robot Manager evaluates robot performance by using the following failure threshold types that are applicable at the work group-level:
- Number of consecutive failed assignments within the alert evaluation time
- Percentage of failed assignments within the alert evaluation time
In addition, Robot Manager sends warning messages about robots that are approaching a failure threshold. Failing robots can then receive human attention before Robot Manager stops them.
