Promoting a package to another deployment level

Updated on November 29, 2022

After a package has been deployed to a level, you can promote the package to another level in the pipeline.

For example, after business users finish testing in the UAT level, you can move the package from the UAT level to the production level.

Package deployments are not removed from the original deployment level when you promote them to another level.

Note: Setting a deployment level does not automatically promote an automation package to another environment. Use deployment levels to control and manage the assignments of your packages.
  1. In the navigation pane of Pega Robot Manager, click Packages.
  2. Click the package that you want to promote.
  3. Click the package on the deployment level that you want to promote.
  4. Drag the package to the deployment level to promote the package to that level.
