Robot status types

Updated on November 29, 2022

Keep the condition of robots in check through robot activity status indicators that are available in the Robot activity chart.

See the following list for robot status indicators that are available in the Robot Activity chart:

Started

When a robot activates, it transfers to the Started status before requesting assignments.

If the robot receives an assignment, the status of that robot changes to Working.

If no assignments are in queue, then the robot status changes to Ready.

If the work polling interval in work group settings is changed to 0 seconds, then robot status remains Started.

If the robot encounters an issue with accessing an application that is required to run the automation, the robot status changes to Not ready.

Ready
The robot is ready to work on an assignment but there are no queued assignments.
Not ready
The robot is not ready to work on assignments because of an issue with a target application.
Working
The robot is working on queued assignments.
