Configuring registration operators for unattended robots

Updated on December 20, 2022

Registration operators facilitate the secure login of unattended robots to Pega Robot Manager.

The registration operator acts as a secure gateway that allows unattended robots to access Robot Manager. In this way, unattended robots can download automation packages and complete assignments. For more information, see Understanding basic authentication for Pega Robot Manager users.
What to do next: To configure registration operator IDs for unattended robots, perform the following tasks:
  1. Configuring an operator ID for registering robots

Certain access privileges enable the registering of unattended robots in Pega Robot Manager. You must grant these access privileges to appropriate operator IDs.

  2. Updating Pega Robot Manager decision tables with registration operator details

Define the work groups that robots can use to register with a specific registration operator ID by updating Robot Manager decision tables.

  3. Enabling the machine that hosts the RPA service to register with Pega Robot Manager

Configure a Windows environment that hosts a robot to access Pega Robot Manager by using the registration operator credentials.
