Modifying data aggregation intervals for reporting

Updated on December 20, 2022

Pega Robot Manager collects reporting data in half-hour increments, but you can adjust data aggregation settings to your business needs by specifying whether to store the reporting data at hourly, daily, monthly, or yearly intervals.

By default, usage intervals collection settings are inherited from the built-on (parent) application. If the built-on application inherits those settings from its parent application, then, to resolve any dependency, the application stack is traversed until the dependency is resolved. If no application contains its own instance of the settings, then Pega Robot Manager uses the default settings.
Before you begin: Ensure that your user account has at least one of the following access roles:
  • Admin
  • ReportAdmin
  • ReportWriter
For more information, see Access groups and roles in Pega Robot Manager.
  1. In the navigation pane of Pega Robot Manager, click SettingsReporting.
  2. Expand the Ingest intervals to collect data section.
  3. Click MoreCopy settings.
  4. In the Copy settings for reporting dialog box, set the data aggregation details:
    1. In the Select an application to copy from list, select an application from which to copy the settings.
    2. Select the settings to copy, and then click Submit.
The Inherited from column of the applied intervals displays the Current application status.
See the following figure for reference:
Setting the reporting data aggregation by copying settings from a build-on application
You can configure how Robot Manager stores reporting data by inheriting data aggregation settings from another application.
  5. Optional: To remove a setting instance, click the Remove from current application icon.
