Updating configuration file assignments

Modify a direct, or inherited, Runtime configuration file association for a work group, a department, a user, or a robot.

For example, you can change an inherited assignment to a direct assignment for a single work group in order to test configuration updates. Or, you can create a Runtime configuration file in which you enable extended event logging, and assign that file to an underperforming robot for troubleshooting purposes.
  1. In Pega Robot Manager navigate to an entity whose Runtime configuration file assignment you want to update.
    For example: To modify a work group assignment, select Unattended RPAWork groups, and then click on a work group.
  2. In the navigation pane of Pega Robot Manager, click OrganizationUsers.
  3. In the Runtime configs section, update the Runtime configuration assignment by performing any of the following actions:
    ChoicesActions
    Override an inherited assignment
    1. Click Override.
    2. In the Override modal dialog, select the file to directly assign to this entity.
    3. Click Submit.
    Replace the direct assignment
    1. Click Replace.
    2. In the Replace modal dialog, select the file to replace the current direct assignment.
    3. Click Submit.
    Revert to the inherited assignment
    1. Click Remove.
    2. In the Remove runtime config settings modal dialog, confirm your settings by clicking Yes.

    You can edit an entity to determine the Runtime configuration file assignment.
