Hardware considerations

Updated on November 10, 2021
Pega Robot Studio v21 Preview

Overall performance depends on the hardware configuration of the computer and the demands of the applications running on it.

The more applications that you have running, the more memory and processing capability your system requires. Determine the exact demands for Pega Robot Runtime and Agile Desktop after your Pega Robotic Automation solutions have been created and implemented.

These hardware requirements reflect the minimum amount of memory, disk space, and processor required to run Pega Robot Runtime or Agile Desktop. With more memory and a faster processor, you achieve better performance.

Note: Run all applications that you integrate using Pega Robot Studio at the same integrity level. The sole exception is that this version of the system supports Internet Explorer protected mode.

Hardware acceleration settings

On some virtual machines, enabling hardware acceleration for graphics causes an issue. If the application menus are not visible, disable hardware acceleration and restart the Robot Studio v21 Preview.
