Numeric expressions let you perform standard mathematical functions in a solution such as multiplication, addition, and so on.
When you place the numeric expression component on an automation, a design block containing input for the initiating event and output result are contained within the block, along with an entry field where you specify the expression. Expressions of undefined and defined Numeric Expression blocks are shown here:
