Understanding the Robot Studio Interface

Pega Robot Studio v21 Preview

Robot Studio provides visual clues as to the status and function of objects and controls. When creating automations, you need to understand the meaning of these visual clues, as well as the basic tools and function of Robot Studio.

Object-level icons

At the object level, there are small icons that indicate what type of object is shown.

Matching icons for interrogated objects

A green-eye icon to the right of objects indicates a successful match during interrogation, as in the following figure.

Screen elements when recording in an application

Pega Robot Studio and this documentation use certain terms to refer to screen elements in the product. The following figure shows some key elements of Robot Studio and their names.
