Citrix pass-through authentication

Updated on October 19, 2022

Set up Citrix pass-through authentication on a Citrix client so that users only have to log in a single time. With pass-through authentication, the Citrix client uses the Windows login credentials of the user to provide a secure login without entering the credentials manually.

Note: The user's Citrix login must be the same as the user’s Windows login.

You must set up pass-through authentication on both the Citrix client and the server. For information on setting up pass-through authentication on a client, see Setting up pass-through authentication on a Citrix client.
