Configure Citrix contexts
To develop automations in a Citrix server environment and to then run those automations in a Citrix client environment, there are several configuration tasks that you must perform to define project contexts within Citrix.
A Citrix context is a custom context that is created by Pega Robotic Automation. You use this custom context when some of your applications run locally and some run as Citrix-published applications.
To establish the custom contexts, you first set up Robot Studio so that you can interrogate the applications that you automate in a Citrix environment. Then, to run the automations that you created with Robot Studio in a production environment, you set up Robot Runtime.
The following diagrams show the order in which you install Pega Robotic Automation software and then configure
your Citrix environment to create robotic automations and to later run those
automations.
- Configuring Citrix contexts on a server
Before you can develop automations in a Citrix server environment, perform configuration tasks to define project contexts on a Citrix server.
- Configuring Citrix contexts in a client environment
Before you can run automations in a Citrix client environment, complete configuration tasks to define project contexts on the Citrix client.
