Configuring Citrix contexts in a client environment
Before you can run automations in a Citrix client environment, complete configuration tasks to define project contexts on the Citrix client.
A Citrix context is a custom context that is created by Pega Robotic Automation. You use this custom context when some of your applications run locally and some run as Citrix-published applications.
To run the automations that you created with Robot Studio in a production environment, you set up Robot Runtime on the Citrix client computers.
The following diagram shows the order in which you install Pega Robotic Automation software and then configure
your Citrix environment to run your automations.
- Setting up pass-through authentication on a Citrix client
After you set up pass-through authentication for your Citrix server, enable pass-through authentication for the Citrix client to complete the setup.
- Installing the Pega virtual channel drivers
Use the PegaCitrixChannelDriverSetup.exe virtual channel setup program to add the Pega Robotic Automation drivers to the Citrix Independent Computing Architecture (ICA) virtual channel directory and set up the Citrix environment.
