Configuring Citrix contexts in a client environment

Updated on October 19, 2022

Before you can run automations in a Citrix client environment, complete configuration tasks to define project contexts on the Citrix client.

A Citrix context is a custom context that is created by Pega Robotic Automation. You use this custom context when some of your applications run locally and some run as Citrix-published applications.

To run the automations that you created with Robot Studio in a production environment, you set up Robot Runtime on the Citrix client computers.

The following diagram shows the order in which you install Pega Robotic Automation software and then configure your Citrix environment to run your automations.

Setting up the Citrix clients
The workflow for setting up the Citrix clients has 3 stages.

  • Previous topic Setting up pass-through authentication on a Citrix server
  • Next topic Setting up pass-through authentication on a Citrix client
