Dialog methods and components

There are three categories of dialogs:

  • AsoManager dialogs
  • StartMyDay dialogs
  • Windows dialogs

Windows dialog components

Use the Windows dialog components to launch and update standard Windows dialogs such as Open File and Print dialogs.

The following table lists and describes the Windows dialog components.

ColorDialogRepresents a common dialog box that displays available colors along with controls that enable the user to define custom colors.
FolderBrowserDialogPrompts the user to select a folder. This class cannot be inherited.
FontDialogPrompts the user to choose a font from among those installed on the local computer.
OpenFileDialogReferences a common dialog box that allows a user to specify a filename for one or more files to open.
PrintDialogInvokes a standard Microsoft Windows print dialog box that configures a PrintTicket and PrintQueue according to user input and then prints a document.
SaveFileDialogReferences a common Windows dialog that allows the user to specify a filename to save a file as.
