Installation of prerequisites
It is important to install system prerequisites in the correct order. The following diagram shows the order in which you install the various components when using the Setup wizards.

- Installing Pega Native Foundation by using the Setup wizard
Pega Native Foundation provides the underlying functionality upon which the other components depend. Install the Pega Native Foundation before you install Robot Runtime or Robot Studio.
- Installing Pega RPA Service by using the Setup wizard
To create and run unattended automations that perform work without user interaction, install the Pega RPA Service.
- Installing Pega Synchronization Engine by using the Setup wizard
To update and keep in sync the modules that comprise the Pega Robot Runtime system and the automations you employ, install the Pega Synchronization Engine.
- Installing Pega Browser Extension by using the Setup wizard
To create or run automations that automate applications that run in the Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Internet Explorer browsers, install the Pega Browser Extension (PBE) component.
