Using the right-click menu on the Automation Surface
When you right-click on the Automation Surface, a menu of options opens. You can add a comment, a jump-to/label combination, or an entry or exit point.
Right-click menu options
Menu option | Description |
Find usages | Finds the number of times that events occur in the automation. |
Add comment | Adds a comment explaining the function or other key information about
some element of your automation. |
Add entry or exit point | Adds an Entry or Exit automation block, to start or end a
workflow. |
Add Label | Adds a label that describes a group of automation blocks within the
automation. A label is like a bookmark you can jump to using
parameters or the Jump to right-click menu
option. For more information, see Adding a Label and Jump To component to automations. |
Jump to | Links to a previously specified Label. |
Arrange blocks | Organizes and aligns design blocks with one click, either extending
design blocks into a single line (Extend lines)
or wrapping design blocks into a series of rows (Retain
wrapped blocks), as shown in the following figure:![]() |
Undo/redo | Rolls back the most recent change, or reinserts a rolled-back change. |
Cut/copy/paste | Standard copy and paste functionality to duplicate an automation block or set of blocks. |
Delete | Deletes an automation block or set of blocks. |
