Adding Robotic Automation components to the Windows Defender excluded list
Windows Defender is an antivirus, malware, and spyware protection application included in Microsoft Windows 8 and later, replacing Microsoft Security Essentials. The use of Windows Defender is optional.
If you use Windows Defender and Pega Robotic Automation, to ensure optimal performance, add the following Pega Robotic Automation components to the Windows Defender excluded processes list. Otherwise, the unnecessary scanning of routine robotic processes and logging by Windows Defender can slow the performance of your system.
Use Windows Defender to add the Pega Robotic Automation components to the excluded list. For more information, see the Microsoft documentation for Windows Defender.
